Wizard Wrock fighting dark forces of the world Wrock for Darfur, a benefit concert and event that is being held by the Harry Potter Alliance Chapter in New York, will take place on August 23 in Poughkeepsie. Official Info: Tales of Beedle the Bard available December 4 In celebration of Harry Potter's birthday today, the Children's High Level Group , the English charity co-founded by J.K. Rowling and Emma Nicholson MEP to help children suffering in institutions, announces that it will publish The Tales of Beedle the Bard. All net proceeds from the sale of the books, expected to be in the region of $8 million, will be donated to CHLG. [more...]

Draco and the Malfoys to headline NYC Wizard Rock Festival The NYC Wizard Rock Festival announced their final lineup for the September 21st event at Public Assembly (formerly Galapagos) in Brooklyn.
